Sheriff’s detectives treating woman’s death in mobile home as homicide | The Sacramento Bee

Sacramento County sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating the case of a woman found dead Wednesday inside a mobile home.

Fire Department medical personnel went to the home in the 7400 block of Gem Street in southern Sacramento County. Detectives were called about 12:40 p.m. Wednesday and determined that the woman had been dead for one to four days.

The front door of the residence was ajar when she was first found, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.

Detectives were investigating the woman’s death as a homicide. The county Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
