Body found along Elkhorn Boulevard is that of North Highlands man
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man whose body was found along the shoulder of Elkhorn Boulevard near Rio Linda.
He was identified as Samuel Melgoza, 30, of North Highlands.
The body at Elkhorn and 20th Street was reported about 4 a.m. Monday.
The Coroner’s Office and the CHP will determine how the man died. He is listed on the coroner’s website as a victim of hit-and-run.
