Two men sought in south Sacramento jewelry store burglary

Sacramento police ask the community’s help in identifying two men sought in the connection with the burglary of a south Sacramento jewelry store last week.

Police on Tuesday released surveillance photos and video of a burglary that occurred about 4:55 a.m. Friday at Berelian Fine Jewelers at 8251 Bruceville Road. Two men forced entry to the store, according to a Police Department news release. Once inside, they removed valuable jewelry from display cases, then left the area before officers arrived.

One man is described as black, in his 50s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build. He wore a black hat, black leather jacket and a fur hood, black pants and black shoes.

The other man is described as black, with an average build. He wore a red hat, black and white mask, black hooded jacket, black pants and white shoes.

Anyone with information pertaining to the burglary is asked to call the Police Department’s dispatch center at 916-264-5471 or Crime Alert at 916-443-4357, or text a tip to 274637. Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
