Gunshot victim in Lodi dies at scene

A gunshot victim found in a Lodi parking lot died from his wounds, according to police.

Officers responded to the parking lot near Cherokee Lane and Victor Road about 11 a.m. Wednesday. Once at the scene, officers found the gunshot victim near the southeast corner of the intersection.

The wounded person was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information was immediately available.
