Four people suffered non-life threatening injuries as two men opened fire Saturday night, Sacramento police reported.
Authorities said men in their 20s at 8:45 p.m. fired on the victims near a basketball court in the 4000 block of May Street, in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood of Sacramento.
The suspects sprayed the area with gunfire, also hitting unoccupied cars and leaving shell casings scattered in the area before driving off.
One victim was transported to an area hospital, police said. Police learned that three others also were treated at area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries related to the incident.

The police department’s North Command reported that the shooting was possibly gang-related.
