Elk Grove police need help identifying a man who held up a bank on Elk Grove Florin Road.

The robber entered the Chase Bank, 8451 Elk Grove Florin Road, about 2 p.m. Friday and demanded money. He indicated that he was armed, though the teller did not see a weapon, according to a police press release.

The man received an undisclosed amount of money and left the building. He was last seen running from the bank through the parking lot. He is described as a black man, about 6 feet 2 and weighing 220 pounds. He was wearing a beige beanie cap with a dark rim, a blue windbreaker, a black, hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants, black gloves and athletic shoes.
