Three men have been arrested in the Dec. 14 stabbing death of a man outside a Sacramento apartment.
Benigno Duran, 35, Kenneth Hopkins, 29, and Jeremy Rosales, 36, are accused of murder in the death of 55-year-old Carlos Rios.
Police responded shortly after 9 p.m. Dec. 14 to the 2600 block of Rio Linda Boulevard regarding a report that a man had been stabbed just outside an apartment.
Officers found Rios, who had suffered stab wounds to his upper body. Rios was taken to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries.

During the investigation, detectives interviewed witnesses and identified Hopkins, Duran and Rosales as suspects in the case, according to a Police Department news release. Detectives arrested Rosales on Dec. 15, Duran on Friday and Hopkins on Saturday.
