Driver dies when car crashes in Del Paso Heights
A driver died when he crashed early Wednesday morning along Norwood Avenue in Del Paso Heights, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Norwood Avenue between Ford Road and Carroll Avenue when the southbound motorist lost control of his car. The car left the roadway and hit a bus stop bench, a light pole and tree.
The man, who has not been identified, died at the scene. Norwood Avenue was closed for several hours.
