El Dorado County sheriff’s officials are seeking information regarding the mysterious disappearance in April of a longtime Georgetown resident.

Justin Bonderer, 34, has been missing since since April 6 under suspicious circumstances, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

Bonderer had lived in Georgetown before moving to Camino with his girlfriend in April. Sheriff’s detectives were able to track him through April 6, when he was last seen in Placerville on his way to Camino. Sheriff’s officials said Bonderer usually doesn’t drive, but catches a ride with someone or hitchikes to his destinations.

On April 7, the Camino home he shared with his girlfriend burned in a fire. Detectives confirmed that Bonderer and his girlfriend were not home during that time, and Bonderer reportedly never made it to Camino from Placerville. His girlfriend hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know where he is, sheriff’s officials said.

Bonderer is described as about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. Sheriff’s officials said he typically spent time visiting family and friends.

Anyone who has seen Bonderer or who may have information pertaining to the case is asked to call Detective Anthony Prencipe at 530-642-4709.
