Pedestrian in Lodi hit and killed by train

Lodi police are investigating the death of a pedestrian hit by a train early Friday morning.

According to a police dispatcher, early reports indicate that the person killed jumped in front of a train near East Tokay and South Main streets at around 3:30 a.m. More information is expected later in the day.
