Rocklin police seek to identify a man who robbed a business on Sunset Boulevard on Thursday night.
Officers responded to the 2100 block of Sunset Boulevard about 11:26 p.m. regarding a report of a robbery in progress at a 7-Eleven store. The robber fled before they arrived.
An employee reported that a man walked into the store and directed the employee to give him money from the cash register, according to a Police Department news release. The man was aggressive and made the clerk believe that he had a weapon, although no weapon was seen, police said.
The man took the money and was last seen walking northbound on West Oaks Boulevard.

The man, shown in a surveillance photo, is described as white, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses and an orange bandana.
Police said they do not know whether the man is connected to other robberies in the area.
