Roseville police seek to identify a man suspected of robbing a Roseville bank early Tuesday afternoon.
The man, shown in surveillance photos, entered Citibank at 1950 Douglas Blvd. about 12:30 p.m., according to a Police Department news release. He allegedly gave the clerk a note demanding money. Police said the note mentioned a weapon, but no weapon was seen, and he left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man was described as a having a dark complexion, or possibly wearing dark foundation makeup. He was believed to be in his late 30s or 40s, 5 feet 5 inches tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a green Oakland A’s hat, a blond wing and a light gray zip-up sweatshirt.
The robbery is being investigated by the Roseville Police Department and the FBI. Anyone who recognizes the man or has any other information pertaining to the case is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916) 783-7897, or test a tip to 274637, starting the tip with the word “Roseville.” People providing tips can remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if the information leads to an arrest.
