A Roseville man has been arraigned on charges that allege he pasted images of his ex-wife onto pornographic images online – and also included her personal information.
Riley Bangerter, 36, pleaded not guilty to 11 charges of identity theft at his Jan. 11 arraignment.
Bangerter was arrested Dec. 3 after an investigation by the state attorney general’s eCrime Unit, which alleges that he superimposed images of his ex-wife onto pornographic images and posted them online. He is suspected of including her personal information along with the images.
“Bangerter’s heinous actions sought to humiliate, belittle and destroy the personal and professional life of his victim,” said Attorney General Kamala Harris in a press release.
