Yuba-Sutter CHP office to offer teen-driver safety class
The California Highway Patrol’s Yuba-Sutter office is accepting reservations for a March driver-safety class for teenagers and their parents or guardians.
The free two-hour Start Smart class aims to reduce crashes and injuries by offering teens and their parents an opportunity to learn about the consequences of poor choices made while driving. The class will include testimony from someone who has been directly affected by a tragic crash, according to a CHP news release.
The March 2 class will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Yuba-Sutter CHP office, 1619 Poole Blvd., Yuba City.
For reservations, call the CHP office at 530-674-5141.
