A Woodland woman has been arrested in the October death of a truck driver on Interstate 80 in Davis.
Jacqueline Ochoa Torres, 26, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence.
The California Highway Patrol said that around 6 p.m. on Oct. 2 Torres was westbound at about 55 mph on I-80 near Mace Boulevard. On the right shoulder of the interstate was truck driver Giuseppe Santuccio, 51, of Hillsborough, San Mateo County.
Santuccio was standing at the rear of his stopped big rig. It was unknown why he was out of his truck, according to an October CHP report.

Torres failed to slow for traffic and swerved her car to the right onto the right shoulder where it struck Santuccio, instantly killing him, according to the CHP.
Torres suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Torres pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Wednesday, and bail was set at $250,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 10.
