A man shot in Citrus Heights on Friday night is expected to survive what police say appears to have been a targeted shooting.
The Citrus Heights Police Department is looking for three suspects, two males and one female, all of whom had their faces covered during the altercation.
Police responded to a 911 call from an apartment complex in the area of 7300 Auburn Oaks Court at around 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Officers found a man in his early 20s who had a gunshot wound to his upper body.
The unidentified man was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries. Police said he is in stable condition.
