Sheriff’s officials seek identity of man in Rosemont laundry burglary
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’shelp in identifying a man sought in a burglary at a coin-operated laundry in the Rosemont area.
Sheriff’s officials say the man allegedly broke into the business in the 9000 block of Kiefer Boulevard on Jan. 9. Once inside, he pried open coin boxes on washing machines and removed quarters, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.
The man, shown in surveillance video, is described as white, 45 to 55 years old, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighing about 150 pounds. Sheriff’s officials said he may be driving an older, dark-blue hatchback or station wagon.
