A: Robert Benson Adams, former principal of Creative Frontiers school in Citrus Heights, is still awaiting trial.

A Dec. 12 trial readiness conference was continued to Feb. 11, and the trial is now set for Feb. 18, according to Sacramento Superior Court online records. The trial date has been reset several times.

Adams, 63, was arrested in September 2011. In March 2013, he was ordered to face trial on charges that he methodically and routinely molested young girls at the private school dating back to 1996.

He is charged with six felony counts of lewd and lascivious behavior with a child younger than 14 and a misdemeanor count of annoying or molesting a child younger than 18.

Adams has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
