Man suspected in burglaries of three Rocklin takeout restaurants
Rocklin police are seeking to identify a man believed to have burglarized three closed takeout-style restaurants in the city early Thursday.
Between 1:30 and 2:30 a.m., a man entered Papa Johns, Mr. Pickles and Domino’s Pizza. The man forced entry into the businesses by breaking through the storefront glass doors. Once inside, he targeted the cash registers and other items of value within reach, according to a Police Department news release.
Police said the man, shown in surveillance video, appeared to be white, with average build and height. He was wearing blue jeans, a camouflage jacket or rain jacket with a hood, a black baseball-style hat with a large white “DC” logo on the front and a black sweatshirt with white writing on the front.
A dark, possibly gray, larger sports-utility-type vehicle was seen in the area before the break-ins, though police said it is not known whether the vehicle is associated with the burglaries.
Anyone with information regarding the burglaries is asked to call the Rocklin Police Department at 916-625-5400.
