Woman, 18, found safe after kidnapping in Folsom

Folsom police say an 18-year-old woman was found safe Sunday afternoon after she was reported kidnapped, sparking a regionwide search for her and the alleged kidnapper.

The police short statement had no details about how she was found or whether the suspect had been captured.

An earlier statement said the victim was Folsom resident Samantha Gonzalves. She was reported kidnapped.
