Wisconsin skier dies after crash into tree at Heavenly resort
A skier died from injuries suffered when she hit a tree at Heavenly Lake Tahoe resort earlier this week.
Kathryn Strangman, 77, of Madison, Wis., struck a tree while skiing Tuesday morning on the Nevada portion of the resort, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
She died despite life-saving efforts of ski patrol members. An autopsy is scheduled.
