Body of unidentified man found in Sacramento River
The body of an unidentified man was recovered in the Sacramento River Sunday evening, according to Sacramento Fire Department officials.
Rescuers recovered the body of a white, adult male from the Yolo County side of the river near Scribner Bend around 5 p.m., said spokesman Chris Harvey. The body was originally reported to police around 4:45 p.m. by recreational boaters who were on the river at the time.
The incident has been turned over to the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.
