Rio Linda crash victim identified by coroner

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a collision Sunday in Rio Linda.

Justin Smith, 35, of Sacramento was westbound on Main Avenue approaching Kelton Way, when he lost control of his vehicle and sideswiped a truck. He then crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a compact car.

Smith died at a hospital. Sacramento police said other people involved in the incident suffered minor injuries.
