Crews contain commercial structure fire on Stockton Boulevard
Sacramento Fire Department crews knocked down a fire Tuesday evening at a metal storage building in the 8600 block of Stockton Boulevard, officials reported.
The fire was reported about 5 p.m. Fire Department spokesman Capt. Dave Lachner said a second alarm was issued because of a potential threat to other buildings.
Lachner said the building, estimated to be about 12,000 square feet, housed carnival equipment and some trucks and trailers. Trailers also were parked outside next to the building.
He said firefighters were able to contain the fire to a portion of the building.
No one was injured in the fire and Lachner said the cause is under investigation.
