The man in his 40s was walking about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at Sacramento Avenue and Kegle Drive when he was struck by the car. He suffered significant injuries and was taken to UC Davis Medical Center, according to West Sacramento police Sgt. Roger Kinney.
