A man was placed under arrest after a crash and a dust-up with officers on Interstate 80 early Thursday morning.
A crash occurred around 12:04 a.m. Thursday on eastbound I-80, west of West Sacramento’s Enterprise Boulevard. The driver attempted to flee on foot and then resisted officers, according to the California Highway Patrol.
While officers were investigating the collision, another driver came upon the scene and hit the rear of a vehicle, pushing the car into a fire engine.
The driver who resisted officers was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run.
