Sacramento police are investigating the death of a man who was found in a vacation-type trailer on property in the Woodbine neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Police spokeswoman Traci Trapani said police were called to the 6900 block of 27th Avenue about 5:28 p.m. She said a resident of the property had found a man unresponsive in a trailer at the site. The Sacramento Fire Department responded, determined the man was dead and called for the coroner. The coroner found signs of trauma to the side of the man’s head and summoned police, Trapani said.
Crime scene and homicide investigators were at the scene Friday evening. Trapani said the investigation was in the early stages, and neither homicide nor suicide and been ruled out as the cause of death.
