Man, 21, who died in I-80 crash near Antelope Road identified

A male driver in a fatal crash was ejected from his vehicle early Saturday on Interstate 80 in Sacramento County.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the man as Trestin Jones, 21, of Sacramento.

A California Highway Patrol spokesman said the vehicle drifted off the right shoulder near the Antelope Road exit, hitting a guard rail. The vehicle then traveled toward the median, rolling over several times before the driver was ejected.

The crash occurred about 6 a.m. and slowed traffic on the highway. The CHP said no one else was involved or injured in the accident, and there were no signs of alcohol or drugs.
