The District Attorney’s Office in Sacramento County would like help finding a mother suspected of parental kidnapping of her son.
Erin Hale, 50, was last seen with her son, Joshua Hale, 11, on Feb. 17 in the community of Cool in El Dorado County. The pair were in a full-size pickup, perhaps a Dodge Ram with tool boxes in the bed and a lumber rack on top. The truck color was described as light tan or silver.
A Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office press release said that Erin Hale and her ex-husband were granted equal shared custody of their son by Family Court. On Nov. 9, she failed to return the boy to his father after her visitation time.
Since then, Joshua has not returned to his school or home. A felony arrest warrant was issued for Erin Hale on Dec. 3.
