Three break-ins at Elk Grove shopping center

Three businesses were burglarized Wednesday morning in Elk Grove, resulting in broken glass and a stolen cash register.

Edible Arrangements, the Water Warehouse and Beach Hut Deli were broken into around 5:15 a.m. Police were informed of the burglaries at 7119 Elk Grove Blvd. when alarms were activated.

Arriving officers found the businesses’ front glass doors shattered. Police spokesman Officer Christopher Trim said that a cash register was taken from Beach Hut Deli.

Crime scene investigators dusted for fingerprints and a search was conducted for cameras at neighboring businesses that might have captured video of the burglaries.
