A: Citrus Heights police said investigators determined that the woman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Officers responded about 12:05 a.m. Feb. 8 to an apartment complex in the 12000 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard after receiving 911 calls reporting that a woman had been shot. According to stories in The Sacramento Bee, officers found a woman in her mid-40s and confirmed that she had died of a gunshot wound to her upper body.
