Pot house robbed in south Sacramento Friday night
A south Sacramento house being used as a pot-growing home was burglarized late Friday by several suspects who broke in, stole marijuana plants and then fled, Sacramento police reported Saturday.
The house in the 2000 block of Monarch Drive was broken into shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, police said.
“No injuries were reported,” according to the police department’s daily activity log. “Officers arrived on scene and it was determined this home was being utilized to grow marijuana.”
Police called a Sacramento utilities crew to shut off power to the house, and the home was boarded up.
