Man arrested on suspicion of car wash arson
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District officials arrested a man on suspicion of arson after reviewing security video at a gas station car wash that burned in March.
Ole Berg, 47, of Sacramento was booked Monday afternoon into Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of arson. He is suspected of causing a fire early March 22 at a Shell gas station, 9199 Folsom Blvd.
Sac Metro firefighters found heavy flames throughout the car wash but extinguished the blaze.
A fire investigator determined an arsonist had started the fire. After reviewing security video, investigators identified Berg as a suspect. His bail was set at $50,000.
