A teen was robbed of his pricy basketball shoes Wednesday evening when he was walking in South Land Park.

Two robbers walked up to the teen about 6:30 p.m. in the area of 43rd Avenue and Gloria Drive. The two threatened the boy and demanded his Nike Air Jordan basketball shoes.

Out of fear of being harmed, the teen gave his shoes to the robbers. They ran to a waiting car and fled north on nearby Interstate 5.

No weapon was seen in the robbery, according to police.
