Sacramento police arrested three people Saturday afternoon after a fight erupted at a gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts.
Officers on duty at the Easyriders bike show at the Sacramento Convention Center used pepper spray to break up the altercation, which involved 10 to 15 people, said police Sgt. Doug Morse. They seized a weapon that fell to the ground during the fight, and arrested three people on “felony assault with gang enhancement” charges, he said.
No significant injuries were reported.
Additional officers were deployed to the show after the 4 p.m. incident, and will be on duty this evening “in areas around the city where motorcycle groups are known to gather,” Morse said.
