Elk Grove police are asking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a U.S. Bank branch Monday afternoon.
Police spokesman Officer Christopher Trim said the robbery occurred shortly after 3 p.m. at the bank branch at 9230 Elk Grove Florin Road.
A man approached a teller and demanded money, Trim said. The robber left with an undisclosed amount of money and was seen walking south.
Trim said no weapon was seen during the robbery, and no one was injured.

Police released a surveillance photo of the man, who was described as African American, about 6-foot-1 and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored hood, sunglasses, a white mask and a full-length orange jumpsuit with yellow safety stripes.
