Elk Grove detectives have arrested a suspect in Monday’s robbery of a U.S. Bank.
Police said Rodney Williams, 50 was taken into custody. According to Sacramento County Jail records available online, Williams was booked on suspicion of robbery Tuesday afternoon. His bail is set at $1 million.
The robbery occurred about 3:07 p.m. Monday at 9230 Elk Grove Florin Road. A man entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money, according to police. He then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was seen walking southbound from the bank.
Police said no weapon was seen during the robbery.

No information was provided regarding Tuesday’s arrest of Williams. Police said they are not releasing a booking photo at this time.
