Prosecutors are combining the cases of the four people tied to a bloody home invasion in south Sacramento County late last month that left a man and his two sons dead.

Daniel Nguyen, 24, and Elijah Johnson, 21, were each arraigned last week in Sacramento Superior Court on three counts of murder along with robbery in the triple slaying of Thanh Le, 56, and sons Dong Le, 32, and Tien Le, 21, early April 28 at their Ardith Drive home near Elk Grove-Florin Road.

Nguyen also faces charges of attempted robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Two others, 18-year-old Amanda Tucker and a 17-year-old juvenile, were also arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the home invasion.

All will be prosecuted as co-defendants, said Rod Norgaard, Sacramento County assistant chief deputy district attorney, on Tuesday following a morning hearing for Nguyen in the case.

The next court date in the Sacramento Superior Court case is May 25.
