Authorities looking for missing south Sacramento man

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who is missing from his residence near Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard in south Sacramento.

Officials said 58 year-old Joseph Vaughn was an at-risk individual. He was last seen around 9 p.m. Monday when he walked away from his residence.

Officials said Vaughn suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented and confused easily.

Vaughn is an African-American male with short hair, a salt-and -pepper goatee and brown eyes. He is 5-10, 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a brown, heavy jacket with money denominations printed on it, and brown sweat pants.
