Firefighters and law enforcement officers from throughout Placer County will participate in the drill, which involves a simulated train crash as well as a simulated hazardous materials spill.
Nearby residents may see helicopters overhead and hear sirens, officials said. Accident “victims” made up to appear injured.
The emergency preparedness event will take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
