An Auburn woman is in jail after allegedly stealing more than $10,000 worth of items from vendors at a home show.
Officers were dispatched about 9:30 a.m. Friday to the Auburn Home Show at the Gold Country Fairgrounds regarding a report of a woman attempting to steal alcohol from the bar. They contacted 27-year-old Lindsey Inchaurregi. As officers were investigating the matter, they were contacted by five vendors who reported numerous items totaling more than $12,000 had been stolen from their displays, according to an Auburn Police Department news release.
Upon further investigation, officers found more than $10,000 in stolen property.
Inchaurregi was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. She also was booked on suspicion of bringing contraband into jail after she was found during the booking process to be concealing a small amount of methamphetamine, police said.

Inchaurregi is being held in lieu of $15,000 bail.
