Two motorcyclists identified in fatal Highway 113 crash south of Dixon
The Solano County Coroner’s Office has identified two motorcyclists who died Saturday when they were hit by a car on Highway 113 south of Dixon.
Jamaal Abron, 29, of Stockton, and Malinda Averell-Kalis, 45, of Vacaville, were traveling southbound on separate motorcycles when they were hit near Fry Road shortly before 7 p.m., said Tenzin Dorji, an investigator at the coroner’s office. The two collided with a Dodge Charger, who made a left turn into the path of the motorcycles, said California Highway Patrol spokesman Dave Harvey.
Both motorcyclists were declared dead at the scene, Harvey said. Alcohol or drugs was not a factor, he said. The driver, Shatora Watley, 36, of Vacaville, was not injured, according to the CHP.
