The Placer County Sheriff’s dive team, assisted by the Yuba County Sheriff’s dive team, failed to find a missing boater at Camp Far West lake on Monday, according to the Placer sheriff’s office’s Facebook page.

Sheriff’s officials said the search of 38-year-old Dustin Connor of Orangevale will resume Tuesday. The Yuba County sheriff’s boat will return to search the lake with sonar equipment, and Placer County divers will respond if the boat crew finds anything.

A boat carrying six people overturned and split in half after being hit by another boat’s wake on Sunday, authorities said. Two people were uninjured, while three were taken to the hospital. They are in stable condition, according to the Facebook page.
