Sacramento-area residents who have had a bike stolen are invited to the Police Department headquarters Saturday to look over dozens of stolen bicycles.

The bikes were found in a storage locker in the 3300 block of Northgate Boulevard on April 29 when officers served a search warrant. About 60 bikes were found.

In the interim, officers have reunited some owners with their bicycles. But many remain unclaimed. Theft victims can view the bikes at the department at 5770 Freeport Blvd., suite 100, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

However, the Police Department said that to attend the viewing a person must provide a copy of a police report pertaining to their stolen bike or a police report number, description of the bike that was stolen and a photograph or serial number of the stolen bicycle.
