The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the man who died in a collision Friday in Fair Oaks as Nathan Bruns, 19, of Rancho Cordova.
The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. Friday at Madison and Kenneth avenues, just east of Citrus Heights, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three 19-year-old men were in a 2016 Kia Forte heading east on Madison Avenue, the CHP said. The Kia tried to turn left onto Kenneth Avenue and was struck by a 2003 Ford F-250 heading west on Madison.
Bruns was killed. CHP said the Kia’s driver, from Rancho Cordova, suffered minor injuries, and another passenger, from Gold River, suffered major injuries.
