Crime Q&A: Anything new in 2012 case of man shot in car in Rancho Cordova?
Q: Has there been any progress on the Clifton Riddle Jr. investigation?

A: No arrests have been reported in September 2012 death of Clifton Riddle, who was found shot in Rancho Cordova.
Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies found Riddle, 33, in his car in the 2400 block of Moraine Circle the night of Sept. 13 after he called to say that he had been shot, according to a story in The Sacramento Bee.
He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital, where he died about 2:30 p.m. the following day.
Sheriff’s officials said Riddle provided no information about his assailants or any vehicle that might have been involved.
