Vacaville sex offender found in Manteca

Manteca police on Friday apprehended a Vacaville sex offender who cut his GPS tracking anklet and disappeared.

According to Vacaville police, Kurtis Duane Chambers was taken into custody by Manteca police following a tip from the public. He was on parole and required to wear the device, which police said he removed Thursday.

Chambers has a neck tattoo of baby footprints and the name “Abby.”
