A Sacramento man was arrested Saturday after he was accused of inappropriately touching Justin Timberlake at the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in Stateline, Nev.

TMZ reported on a video showing someone’s hand slapping or touching Timberlake on the neck as he walked through the crowd at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. On the video, Timberlake turns in the direction of the fan and can be heard saying, “Why would you do that?”

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office identified the fan as Keith Michael Weglin, 29, of Sacramento. Timberlake declined to press charges, and officers directed Weglin to leave the premises, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. But sheriff’s officials said Weglin was intoxicated and became disorderly and argumentative. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Weglin was booked into Douglas County jail and released later the same day after posting $640 bail.

Weglin could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
