Caught on camera: Surveillance video shows Orangevale Liquor store robbery
A surveillance camera caught a robbery of the Orangevale Liquor store on Greenback Lane on video Monday night, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
One employee was working at 10:48 p.m. when three men with their faces covered entered the store and demanded the money from the cash register, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Lisa Bowman. They had at least one semi-automatic handgun, she said.
The employee was unsure how much money was taken, Bowman said, and he identified the men as being in their late teens. They escaped on foot and are believed to have gotten into a vehicle parked down the street.
A surveillance camera in the store caught the entire robbery on video. It is being reviewed by the Sheriff’s Department and the case is under investigation.
