Man sought in robbery of Elk Grove credit union
Elk Grove police are investigating the robbery of the Schools Credit Union at 8255 Laguna Blvd.
Officer Christopher Trim, police spokesman, said the robbery occurred at 3:16 p.m. Friday. The man presented a note to an employee demanding money, but did not indicate that he had a weapon.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he left the building on foot, Trim said. No one was injured in the robbery.
The man is described as African American, in his 60s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a slender build, and wearing a green cap, a burgundy and black shirt, and jeans.
